<p>The IGNITE Team is made possible by the generous support of the C.S. Mott Foundation and its funding of the “Moving Ideas to Market” initiative, implemented and led by the combined efforts of the Prima Civitas Foundation, the Mid-Michigan Innovation Team, and Corporation for a Skilled Workforce.</p>

<p><strong>Action Team Goals</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>To foster student interest and knowledge about entrepreneurship, increasing the rate of entrepreneurship in Michigan in the future. </li>
<li>To create seamless linkages among high schools, community colleges, and colleges/universities for pursuit of entrepreneurship education.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Strategies of IGNITE Entrepreneurship Action Team</strong></p>
<p>To accomplish the mission of the workteam, the IGNITE Team has three workgroups:</p>
<ul>
<li>Information/Resource Portal: Portal resource to highlight best practice models and master calendar of youth events</li>
<li>Events for Students: K12 and summer camp opportunities highlighting entrepreneurship core concepts</li>
<li>Events for Teachers: Ongoing professional development opportunities for teachers and/or educators working with entrepreneurship programs</li>
</ul>
